Let’s be honest touring caravan holidays really do take some beating. That freedom to up sticks and go wherever the mood pleases you, whenever you feel like it.
Whether you prefer quiet or busy, you can choose to head away for a break at a time or place that’s convenient for you. And touring holidays don’t mean having to sacrifice those creature comforts, either. Having a seasonal pitch you can wave goodbye to the hassle of towing for each trip and say hello to effortless arrivals and taking things easy.

What is a seasonal pitch?
A seasonal pitch allows you to select your favourite pitch on our campsite and base your caravan there for the season. This means you can leave your caravan onsite for 12 months and stay when our season is open which is March - October and additional months you can store your caravan here, onsite we have wardens throughout the open season and our entrances and exits are covered by 24 hour CCTV.
Can you choose your own pitch?
Yes subject to availability.We will show you the available pitches we have suitable for your caravan, which you will be able to choose from.
What is included within your
seasonal pitch?
You would gain full access to our on-site facilities including our newly renovated shower block that has 6 private shower cubicles and toilets, which includes a baby changing area and disabled access. With underfloor heating to keep you warm on those colder mornings, sinks and mirrors for all your needs.
At the back of the shower block there is a washing-up area. Our shower block/washing up areas are cleaned daily and peak summer twice a day to keep them as clean as possible.
Access to our on-site café, grill and visiting street food vans, any ticketed events, drinking water points around site and individual electricity 16AMP points. Our season runs from March to October but outside of these dates you can still visit the site and use your unit or can use the pitch as storage for your unit. We only allow storage of your unit - no extras such as cars/tools or anything else similar.

Yes, we welcome pets whilst you stay. However, we politely ask that you have them on a lead at all times to respect other visitors that may be staying on site.
Can I bring my pets with me?
How do I keep my caravan
secure on-site?
You should treat your seasonal pitch security the same as you would if your caravan was parked at home. Make sure the hitch-lock and wheel locks are all securely in place. With onsite wardens in peak season and CCTV we do everything we can to help any query.
What are the pros of a seasonal pitch at Old Buckenham Country Park?
Less towing - Many people find towing a caravan difficult, but seasonal pitches reduce the amount of towing you have to do.

Beat the Friday night rush - Towing a caravan through the Friday night traffic can be stressful.

Cheaper than a touring pitch - If you're a regular visitor to a site, it can work out cheaper than paying for a regular touring pitch.

No setting up and packing away - You don't lose precious time sorting out the caravan when you arrive, and having to pack up early to get away on time at the end of your stay.

Leave your belongings on-site - You can leave clothes, non-perishable foods and other items on-site from week to week.

A permanent holiday site - It's a cheaper way to have a permanent holiday site than purchasing a static caravan.

Hard standing pitch - Waste and water disposal onsite a short distance from your pitch giving you a greater level of convenience and comfort.​
